Armadale railway station〔(【引用サイトリンク】 Railway Lines in the Armadale Area )〕 is a railway station serving Armadale, West Lothian, Scotland. It is served by trains on the North Clyde Line.
==History==
The station opened with the line on 11 August 1862.〔Butt (1995), page 18〕 It was opened by the Bathgate and Coatbridge Railway which was then absorbed by the North British Railway. Becoming part of the London and North Eastern Railway during the Grouping of 1923, it passed on to the Scottish Region of British Railways on nationalisation in 1948, and was then closed by the British Transport Commission with the withdrawal of passenger services on 8 January 1956.〔
